...in
September of 1995, a steering committee of Seventh Ward citizens formed
a coalition for the betterment of our ward. If we in the Seventh
Ward wish to bring back pride to our community, we must all unite and
lift our voices to our elected officials. The coalition meetings
are a place where concerned citizens can talk about the problems facing
the ward and try to find solutions to these problems with the help of
the other members.

...is
to undertake a broad base of concerns that affect the quality of our
neighborhoods, the economic well-being of our area and other concerns
that will affect the 7th Ward. The Coalition is a non-partisan
organization that attempts to make conditions in the 7th Ward better
through organized unity to solve its issues of concern.
"Never doubt that a small group of people
can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
- Margaret Meade
